Please allow the connection to Dataflows' entities from Excel's Power Query.
There are many cases when customers use Excel and not Power BI. But Dataflows can make the refresh process much faster for them.
Thanks

RE: Connect to Dataflows from Excel's Power Query
What Version was this released?
RE: Connect to Dataflows from Excel's Power Query
This would be such a WIN to connect dataflows from excel's power query. Excel is a mainstream tool and the ability to link with dataflows will create an efficient solution. MS WHEN?
RE: Connect to Dataflows from Excel's Power Query
How is this not done yet? If MS wanted to be a full solution package it needs this. Getting more people to use more services together
RE: Connect to Dataflows from Excel's Power Query
Looks like we are over a year with no update. Can you let us know please.
RE: Connect to Dataflows from Excel's Power Query
Any updates? It was supposed to be in 2021. This seems like a slam-dunk easy thing, why wouldn't a MS data source (dataflows) not be supported in a MS product? It's very annoying and not good practice to create a Dataset linking to a Dataflow just to source data into Excel since only Datasets are supported.
RE: Connect to Dataflows from Excel's Power Query
Does the OP know when this will be implemented? 2021 was 5 months ago and still nothing. I am desperate to get to the PF data in excel.
RE: Connect to Dataflows from Excel's Power Query
But it seems no query folding (yet?) :-(
RE: Connect to Dataflows from Excel's Power Query
Works for me!! Never thought this day would arrive...LOL
RE: Connect to Dataflows from Excel's Power Query
It could be that it hasn't rolled out to all versions yet - I'm working on version:Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2202 Build 16.0.14931.20128) 64-bit
RE: Connect to Dataflows from Excel's Power Query
Hey tried the method as stated in previous post::"In excel, do Get Data -> Other Sources -> Blank Query. The first line of your query needs to be: =PowerPlatform.Dataflows(null)"Getting expression error:Expression.Error: The name 'PowerPlatform.Dataflows' wasn't recognized. Make sure it's spelled correctly.Note: This is testing on Excel 365Anyone else successful in connecting? If so how so?
