Please allow the connection to Dataflows' entities from Excel's Power Query.
There are many cases when customers use Excel and not Power BI. But Dataflows can make the refresh process much faster for them.
Thanks

RE: Connect to Dataflows from Excel's Power Query
This feature is planned for the second half of 2021 so I hope we are on schedule!
RE: Connect to Dataflows from Excel's Power Query
Keep us posted! Looking forward to this!
RE: Connect to Dataflows from Excel's Power Query
I am really looking forward to having this feature. It would greatly simplify our ETL processes. Now we need to connect to some source files over and over again and copy-paste lots of PQ code...
RE: Connect to Dataflows from Excel's Power Query
Really looking forward for this to be implemented.
RE: Connect to Dataflows from Excel's Power Query
Is this still planning to be implemented 2021 2H or has this been pushed back?
RE: Connect to Dataflows from Excel's Power Query
So the Power Platform 2021 release plan wave 2 is out ( https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform-release-plan/2021wave2/) and unfortunately I don’t see this feature being mentioned anywhere...
is there any update on this?
RE: Connect to Dataflows from Excel's Power Query
Any update on this? Would be great to have this or an alternative if possible, big stressor right now trying to convert a pivot table to a normal table which is not working as planned for solutioning.
Happy to discuss internally as well if there is preview that I can use.
RE: Connect to Dataflows from Excel's Power Query
This feature is soooo important and will definitely make dataflows more attractive to end users
RE: Connect to Dataflows from Excel's Power Query
Just want to say: thank you for responding and updating the status on this item from Closed to Planned, and providing the additional context that it is planned for release this year. This should make a lot of people happy. I can't wait to shift my Excel imports from Datasets to Dataflows...getting rid of an additional layer that never needed to be there. Cheers!
RE: Connect to Dataflows from Excel's Power Query
We need this feature, otherwise DataFlows will never reach wider application.
