Please allow the connection to Dataflows' entities from Excel's Power Query.
There are many cases when customers use Excel and not Power BI. But Dataflows can make the refresh process much faster for them.
Thanks

we try to use dataflow as our data lake, data depository, and can be used by either Power BI reports or Excel users.

RE: Connect to Dataflows from Excel's Power Query
connect to dataflows from both Excel and Excel Power Query would be ideal.
RE: Connect to Dataflows from Excel's Power Query
Very important to data model prototyping together with Excel users - they are used to seeing data in a certain way.
This is a half-way house for them to help with validation of data before they get Power BI reports which look and feel very different to what an Excel user is used to.
Further, it might even enable historical Excel type use-cases on larger datasets. Please, Redmond. Listen up!

Will be great to have it. Speed of Power Query in Excel to process data is so slow when you need to shape the data.
RE: Connect to Dataflows from Excel's Power Query
It would also be useful to Power BI users too.
