* If I select a #PowerBI measure the formula bar appears. Good
* But if I want to hide the formula bar in order to see the canvas behind it again, I have to click in the formula bar and push ESC to dismiss it. Bad. Why can't I just click ESC to dismiss?
* If I reselect that same measure again, the formula bar doesn't come up. I have to select ANOTHER measure first before I can reselect that initial measure. Very bad.

RE: Let us dismiss the DAX Formula Bar by pushing ESC
Agree. Sure miss the possibility to close the editor with Esc.And:When writing a DAX function, a pop-up is shown, explaining the possible function arguments. This pop-up can be closed with Esc, Good. But click Esc twice and the editor closes and all changes are lost. Very bad.

Furthermore, if I *have* clicked in it, if I push Esc then I *don't* want to clear any search term in the search box in the Data (aka Fields) pane.
