I'm using Power BI and some other O365 services (e-mail, yammer etc.). A few days ago suddenly all my Yammer groups appeared as workspaces in Power BI menu. It's very annoying, I need only one or two workspaces for sharing my PBI reports. Searching for them in the long list is time consuming.
There should be a simple way to switch between only those workspaces, which one needs for Power BI report publishing.

RE: Hide non-Power BI workspaces from left menu
please add this, basic functionality makes maintenance/management more difficult.
RE: Hide non-Power BI workspaces from left menu
This is really ridiculous not able to hide non-related workspace. The user would see 10 workspaces while there would only use 1. User group of workspace and team group they are a different group of person.
RE: Hide non-Power BI workspaces from left menu
Please add a feature to at least hide those other groups. Let it be an admin option.
RE: Hide non-Power BI workspaces from left menu
I use only 3 Workspaces and now I have 30 to scroll through. Please provide this feature.

Please add this feature
RE: Hide non-Power BI workspaces from left menu
Rather than an automatic assignment as hidden; I would prefer a user selection like in MS Teams where the user can choose to hide a Team. It is ridiculous the number of workspaces I have to sort through when I am only using one of them to develop reports.
RE: Hide non-Power BI workspaces from left menu
Qlik sense is nice... we are seeing this as main pain point of Power BI which stops us from moving forward. There is no fexbility to change the look/feel of the Powerbi, we should able to customize it like a portal.. MSFT suggested us to use another tool (really??)..
RE: Hide non-Power BI workspaces from left menu
This got me today. We have a Power BI workspace named Analytics. But we are storing the files for it's dataflows in a OneDrive workspace name "Analytics". The OneDrive group should be purely backend for the dataflows.
I accidentally published my datasets to the OneDrive workspace and couldn't figure out why my datasets weren't showing up in the "correct" workspace. Almost opened a support ticket on it.
It got me and I'm supposed to know what I'm doing.
RE: Hide non-Power BI workspaces from left menu
Hello,
I am facing the same problem in our enterprise. We want to have governance over workspace creation and also want to use workspaces for internal charging of our Power BI cost.
Now with users undermining our governance with O365 groups created via teams we lose all governance :-(
Is there a fix for this on any roadmap?
RE: Hide non-Power BI workspaces from left menu
It's absolutely necessary for management purposes
