It would be very useful if Power BI allow to export charts directly to excel without lose the format. Exporting just like values with format.

RE: Export charts directly to excel
Would really appreciate the colour formatting on tables being taken into excel when exporting. I am receiving lots of complaints from our end users having to re-apply the colours in excel. Please make this possible.
RE: Export charts directly to excel
Business closed because of lack of "Export to Excel" Option that has all formatting.
RE: Export charts directly to excel
Adding support for the need to format tables with formatting intact, the fact that the tables lose their formatting when exported is surprising and that there isn't at toggle to preserve the displayed formatting is problematic.
RE: Export charts directly to excel
Our business partners need this feature implemented ASAP! Please consider this idea.
RE: Export charts directly to excel
So much meaning is stored in the cell background colours. Not having them in the export to excel means that we have to reformat the export using excel's conditional formatting. Frustrating.
RE: Export charts directly to excel
I am currently having to apply a manual workaround to re-apply conditional formatting that is lost when exporting to Excel from a Matrix. This is causing a lot of problems for our users who rely on the colour coding for effective analysis. I would greatly appreciate if there was an option to be able to export to Excel and retain all formatting including conditional formatting, as is the case with similar applications. Thanks.
RE: Export charts directly to excel
You can do this with Power BI Robots. It's something I only learned recently, so might get some details wrong. But when adding visuals, I kept going past the page image to the table image, and was able to export the data to excel in that exact format. I think there was a setting on the General tab that I had to select for that to work, in the Output Format field.
RE: Export charts directly to excel
Power BI users would benefit immensely if they can export a data set from a visual without losing the formatting as displayed on the browser. Currently the export option loses the formatting and exports data that requires additional pivoting for users to get the layout right for their perusal.
