Copy Job needs to support TIMESTAMP (ROWVERSION) data type for Incremental Column

Please get the Copy Job to support TIMESTAMP (or ROWVERSION) column data types as the Incremental column for the wizard.

This data type is the absolute BEST type for this use case. All others can be hacked or missed by users, systems, or errors.

Stop creating Default Semantic Models for me

When you create a Warehouse or Lakehouse in fabric, it comes with a Default Semantic Model. I know these don't take up space, but WHY? I didn't ask for one. They take up space in the user interface and I cannot hide or delete it. It's like a skin growth. The UI gets really bloated with all the...

Case sensitive data

(Disclaimer: I am submitting this under the first Product and Category set that will allow it. I tried the Power BI Product, but the Categories would not load for me to select one. This site is horrible!)

Power BI data needs to support CASE SENSITIVE data. There are plenty of ...

Manage Permissions nomenclature: Read only grants CONNECT, not READ permissions

Based on this link () the default permissions granted on a Warehouse, if no other permissions are selected, is "Read". But "Read" permissions does not grant the user the ability to READ from the Warehouse. It grants the user the ability to CONNECT. From the article is this statement:...

Add non-aggregated fields section to Matrix visual

In a Matrix visual, you can add additional fields to the Rows area, but for every addition, you get an additional level of breakdown in the hierarchy. In typical analysis models, there are always attributes by which nobody would want to see aggregations. These fields are 'non-aggregation attri...

Better user interface for [+New Item]

When adding any new item to a Fabric Workspace, the user clicks the "New item" button. At first glance, on a moderate resolution monitor, there are three rows of data with three items per row. Items are presented as tiles WITH TONS OF WHITE SPACE. There are 46 items in my view, and that list i...

Notebooks need to list the Lakehousses that are not default

I created a Notebook under a Lakehouse. I then added/attached a second lakehouse to the notebook. Under the Explorer, it shows "Lakehouses / 2 item(s) added" with the expand ">" icon. I click that icon and see ONLY ONE lakehouse listed (the default).

Lakehouse data viewed via SSMS is lagging

I have a pipeline that dumps data into a Lakehouse table (via a Copy Data task, with Overwrite option). After the pipeline runs, the Lakehouse view of the table gets updated fairly quickly. But the SQL Analytic endpoint view as accessed via SSMS still shows the OLD schema and data of the table...

Hide the "DataflowsStagingLakehouse" in SSMS

When using the SQL Analytic Endpoint from a Fabric Workspace to connect via SSMS, there are now FOUR (used to be TWO) databases for Staging. These should be hidden in SSMS.

I sort of assume that they are kind of like tempdb in SQL Server where the user has no business doing t...

Script Table As needs to remove the "ON PRIMARY" clause.

In Lakehouses and Warehouses, I can use SSMS and script out an existing table with simple SSMS right-click context menu. But for the CREATE TABLE statement that gets generated, it includes the clause "ON [PRIMARY]" and this is NOT allowed here.

SSMS needs better awareness of the types o...
