There's currently no way in the PowerBI service to see if a "thin" PowerBI report (reference) is synced with a file on OneDrive.
If it's possible to show this in the metadata for the report within the PowerBI service, this would be great.
It's clear with datasets, as there is the OneDrive Refresh option in addition to the Scheduled Refresh.

RE: Show OneDrive/Sharepoint destination for cloud-synced reports
If a deployment team is using pipelines with OneDrive as the source control, andthe dev team is publishing the PBIX report to the DEV workspace, thenthis idea is necessary for the deployment team to be able to verify that the file being published is in source control, and that the file in source control is being published. There are two goals I am trying to achieve:The DEV team should have full control of the DEV workspace and the ability to publish to it.The deployment team should be able to verify that they can roll-back changes to a previous version, and therefore must have a way to verify that the code they publish in in version control.I am curious how others might be handling this, given the limitations. Do you simply trust the DEV team to have the OneDrive Refresh properly configured? Do you have the deployment team re-publish the report - or prevent the DEV team from publishing to the DEV workspace in the first place, restricting publication to the deployment team?
