Needs VotesAllow selection of multiple consecutive rows in a table using click and shift+click

Right now you have to ctrl+click every row you want to select.
It would be useful if multiple selection through click and shift+click was allowed (like in many other softwares).
Of course the same idea would apply for row and column selection in matrices.

RE: Allow selection of multiple consecutive rows in a table using click and shift+click
Agree this is the most annoying thing I've run across. I build reports for multiple teams, and they want to download the data they have filtered to a spreadsheet. I do not have time to pull 30 filtered data sets. I build these reports so the end user can use them. I trained them to use Reports in SharePoint to prevent these kinds of requests. No one is going to CRTL-Click 200 rows. Why isn't Copy Table an option? Because it would be used.

I was about to add idea, but came across this post. My wishes align...
While using Power BI Desktop Query Editor, it would be nice to have the ability to select one or more rows of data similar to other usual Windows app. This includes...
Selecting one row by using mouse or arrow up/down keys.
Selecting one row and then a range to a second selected row by using Shift-click.
Selecting one or more random rows, not in any order, by using Ctrl-click.
Once the rows are selected, it would be nice to have a Ribbon/Context option to select...
Remove Rows (similar to Remove Columns) that will remove only the rows selected.
Remove Other Rows (similar to Remove Other Columns) that will remove all other rows not selected.
The Keep/Remove Rows options on Table Context is okay, but the feature described above is more productive and fits with other datagrid-type apps. Thx
