There is currently no customisation for sorting of matrices. Please copy existing Excel functionality to sort by row name or by value fields ascending or descending.

It might be helpful to have another set of fields available in the visualization properties to define a list of row/column/measure used for sorting. Even better would be a user-configurable way to define multiple levels of sorting.

We need this.
Its is the basic in Excel that we use so much. Its so frustrating when I need to sort by total sold in 2018 for example, and I have more 3 columns like 2017, 2016 & 2015. It does not allow me to sort by last year, or by 2017 and so on. The sort option is either total columns or in alphabetical order by customer.

just discovered this today.....seriously? you cannot sort a matrix high/low by a column value?

Are you serious that I can't sort e.g. sales figures in ascending/descending order? This is the most basic feature of a table/matrix I can think of! It's comparable to not being able to send texts on my mobile... Please fix this asap!
