This feature would be great. Many of our users are in Mac OS, which means they can't explore the data beyond the charts setup by the BI team, because PowerBI Desktop is not currently supported in Mac OS.

We aren't planning to bring Analyze in Excel functionality to Power BI Report Server. As a workaround, consider hosting tabular models in a standalone SSAS instance and connecting to that server from Excel.

RE: Analyze in Excel from Power BI Report Server
Let's hope this will never ever be imported as feature in the Report Server because it is one of my biggest issues on the App.PowerBI site because you just CAN'T turn it off unless you tweak the tenant settings

Key differential point compared to other reporting solution. If implemented on-premise transform in total winner tool

Waiting for this Release to come
RE: Analyze in Excel from Power BI Report Server
Agreed! We need a way to view a Power BI Report Server matrix report without having to scroll through the hierarchy of fields on by one (i.e. we need multiple fields on one row). An Excel Pivot table in "Classic Pivot Table" display mode would work perfectly.
RE: Analyze in Excel from Power BI Report Server
This will definitely been useful if we can Analyze the data in Local Power BI Report Server in Excel
