It’d be nice to know if a visualization has extra visual level filters applied. (or if a page has filters, etc)

I was driving myself crazy the other day trying to understand why some data wasn’t appearing in my table, and then I realized that I had forgotten that there was extra filters applied in the Visual Level Filters bucket (which I keep wanting to access from the ‘Rows’ group, can they not be combined?). I can’t imagine if I was someone else looking at this for them to know that I’ve crafted some subset of data.

It’d be great if there was an indicator somewhere that could be hovered on to see all the extra filters applied on a visual in a report (in table/matrix view it could be a part of the header for the row/column).

RE: Display When there are Visual/Page/Report Level filters Effecting Visuals

It drove me crazy for a while too! having a MTD sales table and a Last month sales table, and clicking on one row (product category) of the MTD sales table will just show no data at all on the Last month sales!
this is COUNTER-INTUITIVE, especially for users of report who have not built the report and can't figure out what's going on.

Ideally, the row/column header ONLY should be used to filter other reports, not taking into account the other "hidden" visual filters (even if they are accessible through the right-side pane)
