We can currently add an Office 365 group to the membership of another workspace but we can't add an Office 365 group to the access of an app or when you share an individual dashboard or report using the share button.

This is essential to reduce the amount of admin required with sharing reports and follows the principles used in SharePoint that permissions should be managed by using groups.

RE: Share dashboards, reports and apps with Office 365 Groups

Hi,

So the problem is that it is possible to share Power BI dashboards, apps and reports with security groups but not office 365 groups.
The strange thing here is that it is possible to share documents, sharepoints site, etc with office 365 groups but not in Power BI.
Is this something that could be fixed?

This is a huge need. We basically have only M365/O365 unified groups to control access to Teams, SharePoint, Exchange. Please implement this for PowerBI as well.

I tried this and Office 365 Group can be used for the access to the app. However it cannot be used for the Row Level Security. I would like this to be added if possible.
