Drillthrough filters provide dynamic context, if incorporated with bookmarks, the bookmarks can be designed more generically. As it is today, the bookmarks actually reset the drillthrough filters. This actually seems like a bug, except that I can understand wanting a bookmark to reset the drillthrough filters explicitly.

RE: Option for bookmark to not incorporate drillthrough filters

Is it possible to change the idea name to "Exclude DrillThrough filter from bookmarks" ?

RE: Option for bookmark to not incorporate drillthrough filters

Excluding a category drill through filter from bookmark is very important for major report implementations in our organization. A short example from our work:Think of a report page that uses a Bookmark Navigator with the options of the last Month/Year/All . The bookmark effects visual-level filters for Date filters and the drill level of line charts. The report page is hidden, and the access to it is only through a category drill through. Now Let's assume that the category is the department name. When Drilling through the page, the department name a presented and the expected behavior is that it will stay constant, regardless on the bookmark selection. however, the changing the bookmark resets also the department name. There is currently no workaround for this common scenario. The general solution may be a "Lock for bookmark" option for any filter. A more specific solution can be implementing this option only for category drill through filter. And there is also option to change the generic report behavior from the options menu. In summarize, when designing a bookmark filter state, drill through filters must be excluded in order to achieve the expected behavior. Please vote (:Arnon
