I would say this is almost a bug. You enable the Apply buttons and they appear bottom right of each slicer visual. You need to make them a little bit bigger but ok. Then you change fox example the background color of the visual and then the bottom of the visual (at the height of the Apply button) remains white. The top of the apply button touches the end of the background color part of the visual.It seems that the Apply button really adds a whole stripe at the bottom of the visual that is "outside" of the customizable area of the visual. Really seems like they didn't check this when the Apply button functionality was implemented.
