RE: Non-continuous line chart
Are there any Powerbi technical people looking at all these demands or improvement points? Many are basic. If you don't work on this. you will lose a lot of customers.
RE: Non-continuous line chart
It is basic but does not exist in power bi
RE: Non-continuous line chart
I can't believe this doesn't have more votes. or few users work with discontinuous time series data.may be time to look at Tableau.
RE: Non-continuous line chart
Is there a way to break the line chart between years?
RE: Non-continuous line chart
It will be good if something like this can be implemented:

RE: Non-continuous line chart
Hi, We need this feature to show gaps when readings at an equipment were not taken (either it was not available or not working). Showing 0 gives may give wrong idea to the report viewer. Please can you consider adding a formatting option that will allow showing gaps when no data was recorded on line graphs?
RE: Non-continuous line chart
After 4 years, no news. What a pitty
RE: Non-continuous line chart
We are displaying timeseries data from our machines and this is needed for us to analyze the data when we have gaps.
RE: Non-continuous line chart
I need this too for my chart
RE: Non-continuous line chart
Very much would like to see the option for non-continuous lines in a chart. Like others have said, it is misleading to show a line where there is no data.
Thanks!
