Now that Azure Data Lake has been made public and is part of the Cortana Analytics Suite, I believe it is very important to have support for Azure Data Lake Store in Power BI as well. Now we have to move all of our data from ADL to blob or table storage, which is too cumbersome

The Azure Data Lake Store connector is already available in Power BI. You can find it under the “Azure” category within the Get Data dialog in Power BI Desktop, and reports created with this connector are supported for refresh in the Power BI service.

new version of the connector to data lake is too slow...

Take more than 3 minutes just to list files in a folder with about 70 files inside.

Too bad there is no connector for Analytics, meaning DirectQuery on views/tables or passing custom U-SQL.

REST is supported on the source side... (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/data-lake-analytics/data-lake-analytics-get-started-rest-api)

Hi Miguel,

Will we be able to access the Data Lake Analytics managed tables / views as well, or just the Data Lake Store files?

Thank you!
