At the top of the menu in the Power BI Service is a "Favorites" section. When I click it, I see the following message:
"You don't have any favorites yet ... You can favorite any of your content to find it quickly here. Just click the [star] and it becomes a favorite."
So I started by looking at a Report, which I use most frequently, and I didn't see a star anywhere! Then I looked at a Dashboard, and saw the star to click.
So, it seems you can favorite a Dashboard, but not a Report. Right?
I would ask that you please expand the "Favorites" functionality to include Reports.
And/or, in the short term, clarify the message about how to use favorites. Maybe it should say, "You don't have any favorites yet ... You can favorite any DASHBOARD to find it quickly here. Just click the [star] and it becomes a favorite" ... because it seems you can't actually favorite "any of your content."

My organization needs the ability to favorite a REPORT, not a dashboard. Please resolve!

Should also be able to favorite a dashboard/report within an app. Right now you can only favorite the entire app which isn't very useful.

Indeed at the bare minimum, a clarification in the wording as stated by Kevin.

Allowing users to tag Reports as a Favorite is very important to our stakeholders. We have a number of reports that are considered "operational". The reports typically only use a table or matrix as the "visual" along with a set of filters. Reports such as these are not ideally suited for a dashboard.

the idea that favourites are limited to a subset of what you can look at is extremely dumb. this desperately needs resolving.

I hope also that the "Favorites" functionality includes Reports as well, i dont get why it doesn't work in the first place!!
