Hi,
Currently in Power BI on the web we can get data from an excel workbook stored on OneDrive however we cannot do the same from from Power BI Designer.
I accept that we could just sync the Excel workbook to our Windows machine using the OneDrive sync built into Windows 8, but as soon as you upload that workbook to powerbi.com it isn't going to work any more.
Hence, please let us build reports in power BI Designer that get data from an Excel workbook stored on OneDrive. thx.

I cant see this working either. If I import data from a onedrive folder in the desktop app but that data is stored on one drive, there should be no need for a manual refresh of the data, instead that data should be auto refreshed via o365/power Bi. I have automated reports overwriting the files I am using for my PowerBI reports which are put in onedrive using MS Flow - this doesn't require my PC to be on at all. :(

I can't see how this is included - in Designer Onedrive is not listed as a data source...

If it is completed, i can't figure out how it works.
