When PBI reports are published to online service, there isn't a date/time stamp for last updated file. This can be very helpful

RE: Publish timestamp
This idea is now 5 years old, and getting a last modified timestamp should be ubiquitous for all API entities. I'd be happy with either Report or Dataset entity with a last modified/published timestamp so I can automate version control
RE: Publish timestamp
I'm also looking for this feature for long time to know when the report was published and who published so that it would be easy to track the changes.
RE: Publish timestamp
The dataset API, unlike the Power BI Reports API, should provide a last modified by and a last modified on in the response.

I can't believe there are only 6 votes on this.
This is really annoying not knowing if the version I have locally is the latest one or not.
Having to systematically download the PBIX each time I need to look a something.
Even more since I am not the only one playing with this dataset! Remember Microsoft? Democratization of data?
We need last publish date. I don't see why this would not be implemented. Seems a simple and obvious thing to do.
RE: Publish timestamp
I fully agree. In addition to the last 'refreshed' time stamp it would be nice to have a last 'published' time stamp to see if it was last published since completing certain changes. Obviously the last time a report was last modified in a given file location, but who's to say if/when it was last published.
RE: Publish timestamp
Will be even better if we can get the timestamp for every page inside the report so we can know when was the reports page was last updated
