Before upgrading to multiple audience for app feature, we are able to hide reports which support dashboards. But after upgrading to the new audience feature, those hided reports can not be hidden, otherwise, they would not show up in the dashboards.
Currently, once we hide the section, all the items in it will be hidden automatically, understand it is because the audience feature setup the permission by hiding reports, but can you provide further enhancement to allow us hide section but unhide reports in it so those reports can still show up in the dashboards and users would not see the hidden section?
Thanks,
Matthew

RE: Ability to hide section but unhide reports in it
Before the “new app UI experience” – we are/were able to have pages (hidden) that are pinned to dashboards without having to have the report be visible in the app. The “new app” doesn’t seem to be allowing. - we need the ability to "Pin report pages" to a dashboard without having to have the report be visible.

I completely agree with this. MicroSoft have created a security nightmare with this unnecessary change. In the most simple cases, where you want to show a salesperson their pipeline via a dashboard, you now can't do this without exposing the entire pipeline via the underlying report.Surely this can't be right? It makes what was previously one of the most fundamental functions of PowerBI, ie, sharing providing information to your team, a security nightmare. Please sort it out quickly....!!

Yes need a way to control visibility of content in the navigation pane vs denying access to content by Audience.
