The idea is very simple: to allow us to hide certain columns of the totals and subtotals of the matrix visualization. This is particular useful when we actually do not need any aggregration for c certain column/measure.

I've seen various "hacks" suggested to get this to happen (such as white text on white background via a measure for the text colour).However there is no straightforward way of identifying particular columns as not being aggregable. This is particularly useful to me for values in multiple currencies, that can sum across the same currency, but are meaningless across different currencies.
