Presented with a challenge from my executive team:
For creating custom reports - being able to enter in certain data criteria in a "form" in Power BI that enhances / alters the data in report would be an excellent feature. Here's a theoretical scenario:
Commission rates - Have a sales total, sales rep - and a blank space where an end-user can enter the commission rate based on rep. As they enter the commission rate - the commission is automatically calculated.
Something to that effect.

RE: Forms in Power BI
Currently, it's too difficult/impossible to create a form-based report. Let's say I've got a list of employees (or products or stores or ...) and I want to see all the details on a specific one. I would want to drill down (drill through) on one to a form that shows Name, Address, City, State, etc. plus other demograhics and info. One page, formatted nicely, easy to read (not in a 1-line grid with many fields going across). Thanks.
RE: Forms in Power BI
A form that can take input and change the data which is pulled from data sources.
An excellent approach to get rid of coding.
RE: Forms in Power BI
I would love to have this feature in Power BI. I really need it.
RE: Forms in Power BI
Yes, agree this feature would come in very handy
RE: Forms in Power BI
Yes, that would be great to have forms and such in Power BI
RE: Forms in Power BI
Would like that feature very much indeed
RE: Forms in Power BI
I would love to see that feature! This will make the lives hell lot easy.
RE: Forms in Power BI
Would be useful for validating data. Gives a chance for feedback on the dashboard to stay on the same platform.
RE: Forms in Power BI
Yup, I could use this, too.
RE: Forms in Power BI
The possibilities of this could be massive - apps could be entirely built in PowerBI, itself becoming a platform.
