The REST API supports dataset operations but does not allow adding a new table to an existing dataset. It does allow adding new columns/fields to existing tables - but the inability to add new tables is a huge hole in the API.

Agree with other folks that this is a major limitation, especially given that Power BI is designed to work with multiple tables.

It would also be great to be able to push relationships between tables via the REST API.

This is a big limitation that I hope will be addressed soon.
