Every time I reference a previous query as a Source, Power BI will execute that same query and pull in the data again and again for each of the sub queries, surely this is not efficient!
E.g.
Source = #"My Parent Query"

Critical Issue - It's a very typical usage pattern to pull a "MASTER" dataset and then produce many smaller DIMs and other datasets from it.

Critical Issue - I believe this issue has been described in a thousand different ways in as many "ideas" and hence not getting the upvotes it needs.

Can we get this implemented? This ruins it for me since I reference the same query 10 times.

It's more than not efficient, it's a killer when dealing with Odata feeds coming from SharePoint for example.
