    An option to connect back and map all the data sources in the gateway server if the the recovery key is lost!

    An option to map all the data sources in the on premise gateway server ,if the recovery key is lost ,an easy option or an certain process to set all the data sources back to the normal mapping pointing to the same credentials

    Just like Microsoft SQL Server, There should be a way to Back-up and Restore on-prem Gateway servers + data connections, and optionally restore them into another Server, with the option to make them redundant for failover recovery. If the Gateway crashes catastrophically , users will loose all 100's or 1000's of connections that need to be entered manually into a new Gateway, which will cause a great loss of time and money for the enterprise.
