Every groth company needs this. For sold licenses, MRR, Revenue. Very often cumulative numbers are used.
It is true that you can create measures with FUNCTION... and get the values accumulated but that needs to be done in the data model. Instead of creating 20 new measures for each cumulation, it would be more easy to have this as a custom visual or when making a line chart have the option to click "sumcum" beside the option "sum" or "average".
Unfortunately I am not able to code custom visuals myself right now but maybe someone could help with this and enrich with (a cumulative line chart) the powerbi custom visual galarie.

From my view the graph would be a combination of the data calculation in the waterfall chart and then just represented as the line chart.
