As we get deeper into infrastructure and project design it has been apparent that having all of the information for a project build is really handy when collaborating within a workspace group.
What I have found however is that to avoid having multiple repositories for a Power BI project (IE documentation on SharePoint, Datasources and Visuals in Power BI etc), we have been adding tabs purely for documentation purposes and a report with project notes shared and embedded there.
What I think would be a really cool enhancement would be to have a little extended functionality within Workspace Groups to allow for some floating document for in progress projects, such a live note pads and basic table based tracking. Also where you can leave notes for the next user to come in that either pop up or are just visible on a floating notepad.
This of course is not a full project document but more notes for the collaborators to use between them. Workspace Groups are already a great tool for collaboration but imagine having the ability to really be on the same page 100% as soon as you open up the workspace group.
The sugestions I put down are only from the top of my head so if this idea holds water then I am sure more specific ideas an details could be mustered up quickly

RE: Colloboration Functionality in Workspace Groups
Hi All,
I just stumbled onto this request. FYI, our company does something similar to this by embedding Yammer pages into some dashboards. This allows people to leave notes or collaborate.
Cheers,
Dan
