Given that the URL filtering is so unfriendly with all the special characters for space/quote and the fact that it will not work nicely with slicers etc, how about allowing us to preset a bunch of the useful filters as bookmarks (as we already do) and simply allowing these to be set by the URL e.g. https://app.powerbi.com/gibberish/?bookmark='My Bookmark'. This would have the added advantage of being able to work with filter state (slicers) etc

RE: Setting a bookmark to apply by URL parameter
Setting a bookmark via URL would be a great way to tailor the dashboard to a particular link-from context and hide visuals that don't apply.
RE: Setting a bookmark to apply by URL parameter
This would be awesome and really helpful to transfer insights to end users. Indeed fiddling with the url filters is a pain.
RE: Setting a bookmark to apply by URL parameter
Yes, we are using bookmarks to show different views of data on a single page. We want to be able to use a URL to send the bookmarked view of the page, along with the report level filters currently being set by the URL parameter.
