    Enable publishing the queries and data model only to the service from Power BI Desktop

    Good practice is to keep the data model and the report in separate pbix files. Using Power BI Desktop to update the query and/or data model only and then re-publishing, however, means a new blank report gets created in the service.

    A better solution is to have a checkbox or something else that tells Power BI Desktop "I don't want to publish the report pages". Or, perhaps better, if the report pages are blank, don't create an associated report in the service.

    This would be a great addition to the feature set.This could be implemented with either a checkbox when publishing or with a check on the report: Publish the report only when Visuals are present.Not report will be published, when there is no visualisazion on the report.This shouldn't be that hard to implement.
