Mobile refresh not working

I have an internal tabular model and we use enterprise gateway preview, when using mobile app it does not refresh. We have to go to the web version and refresh the dashboard first then the mobile will update. It would be great to have the mobile app refresh the data source!

This is essential surely, or the mobile app is about as useful as a chocolate tea pot

I have been running my own tests and the dashboard tiles on the iPhone App refresh every 20-30 minutes. If I refresh on PowerBI.com, the data refreshes automatically both on the website and in the app. (The data is coming to the report via an enterprise gateway). In order to monitor real-time data from a mobile phone, 20-30 minute wait times are unacceptable. If you have to have a computer to make the mobile app have real-time data, then the mobile app is unnecessary. However, it is not realistic to expect users to always have access to a computer. It would be a huge value add for you to be able to do a hard refresh from the app. Please consider adding this soon.

The 'Refresh' action in Mobile App simply 'syncs' contents between the handheld and Power BI.com. It does NOT perform 'data refresh' hence you'll be constantly staring at same numbers until Power BI decides to auto-refreshes itself. Unless you invoke 'refresh' manually on Power BI, it takes about 30 min to auto-refresh itself as confirmed by the product team. Therefore no matter how frequent your source data gets updated, you will only see fresh data coming through every 30min or so.

This is very counter-intuitive and contradicts with common expectations in every sense. Please enable ability to 'refresh data' in the Mobile App so that user has ability to get most up-to-date data on their handheld devices.
