Improvements to date range picker

Four ideas for improving the date range picker:

1. The current date range picker is not user friendly and it needs to have far less clicks to select the desired date range. My suggestion is to change it so it is works in the same intuitive way as the date range picker at https://www.google.com/flights
2. An option to specify a default range from a relative date range
3. Some intelligence is needed on the manuel date input for start and end date. When I type 20220317 or 17032022 or 1732022 or 17/3-22 or something in that way it should try to determine if it is in fact 17-03-2022 I mean
4. The date range picker should be able to have no value as default

In short the date range picker needs to be much more user friendly and as few clicks as possible
