Excel add-in can't find Power BI datasets

Has anyone experienced this recently? When in excel you can not see your power bi datasets?

I verified I have all the requirements with a license, build permission, latest excel build etc.. but the datasets just do not show up in excel.

I came across this article as a known issue but no where did it mention anyone is working it.

A ton on my users work in excel and love the integration to the power bi datasets, but this issue is a deterrent for usage.

I would appreciate everyone to vote for this idea to get visibility to the power bi product team.
