This functionality is a sad omission from Power BI and really needs to be rectified if Microsoft are going to keep pace with the likes of Qlikview.

It's 2018 and this is still needed. Other products have had this for a decade.

A bit of a shock to find this feature missing! After a lot of preparation work in SSAS, it's going to be difficult to promote Power BI to clients who only have online access to a Cube.

Agree ! much needed feature!

And I think it should comes with the ability to retrieved a pbix published to services to be able to include service created measures when maintaining dataset
