We have found that if you set a filter to be single select the user is able to use the CTRL key and select multiples. This seems like it should not be allowed. We have a DAX calc that needs to use the filter and can only handle one value selected, so since the system allows multi-select when we configured single it breaks our report.

RE: Disable CTRL clicking a filter if the filter is set to single mode
It should als be ensured that in the mode "single selection" a radio button is shown and NOT a tick-box (e.g. in PBI service in the Filter pane).
RE: Disable CTRL clicking a filter if the filter is set to single mode
IMO this doesn't need votes, it just needs actioning asap. The fact that "Require Single Selection" doesn't actually enforce a single selection is a bug, not an additional feature, and should be actioned as such.Within the context of PowerBI, there's already a "Require Single Selection" option. This is on the Slicer visual. To maintain consistency within the application, both functions should behave the same.As someone suggested, if the Filters Pane behaviour was intended, then it should've been named something different to begin with, to properly communicate its function. I don't believe this was the case though, so I return to my original point, this is a bug fix, and should be actioned as such.
RE: Disable CTRL clicking a filter if the filter is set to single mode
I find that even if you define that filter selection should be a single item only, users can override your definition by holding control on their keyboard and selecting multiple values. This should be fixed.
RE: Disable CTRL clicking a filter if the filter is set to single mode
If I have two fields in Filter pane, when I select one value, 'Select All' option is appearing in other one even though, 'Require Single Selection' is checked. When I Uncheck and Check, just 'Select All' go away but comes back when use other filter. This doesn't make sense.
RE: Disable CTRL clicking a filter if the filter is set to single mode
Currently, there is an option "Require single select" on every filter card.
However, the user can still select the "Clear filter" icon to clear all slicers
What's needed is a real single select option similar to the one currently present in slicers, where it switches to a radio button mode, and one option must always be selected (i.e., user cannot unselect all the options
RE: Disable CTRL clicking a filter if the filter is set to single mode
Currently there is an option to "Require single selection", but erasing the filter, CTRL + clicking, or deselecting the check mark overrides it. We should be able to enforce a single selection, just like on a page slicer.
