    import a fully developed SSAS model into a pbix to use the pbix as a stand alone file that can be published to web. thus allowing you the ability to develop in SSAS and deploy to power bi online without direct querying the server

    Yes, Power BI now has enough functionality that it can in many cases replace existing SSAS models. It would be really nice is we could import these models into Power BI without have to recreate them
