Query Editor in Power BI online

I have multiple tables and want to combine the data stored in them. What I saw on web is to use Query Editor to merge and append columns. But that is only available in Power BI desktop. It would be great to include this functionality in the online model.

This is a great idea. In addition to the situation you are describing I think it would help when you add a column in a dataflow you won't need to refresh the dataset on your desktop in order for the column to appear on the dataset.
