Creating a visual experience that not only aligns with design guidelines but also enhances the way users interact with and consume content is a challenge that report creators face. A potential solution could be the incorporation of a visual footer, a tool that could provide a clear division of content, thereby improving the overall user experience by promoting greater visual interactivity and more efficient content consumption.

RE: Epic idea: Visual footer

I often use a text box at the bottom of the page to show current filters applied in a DAX measure. I also like Kieran's idea below. It would be ideal if the footer could be collapsible, e.g. show a summary and expand for additional detail, and be able to specify the content that appeared in both the summary and detail.

One common request is a legend - so any conditional formatting colours or icons are properly documented. If the visual footer features a text field, it should support the icons and formatting used in the visual so they can be properly explained.
