Analytic tab for Line Grpahs can add a forecast line which is based on pretty solid statistical calculations, saving a lot of R scripting. The added forecast line can be seen on the graph. I want to access those value in DAX formulas to calculate measures like: Year to date variance from the forecast values, accuracy of the forecast etc.
Here are the details:
Create a visual i.e. line graph and add a forecast line using Analytics Tab. To test the accuracy, use hindsight by ignoring last X points and forecasting for X points. The actual and forecast lines are shown on visual.
Click on 'see data' from the top right corner of the visual and it shows the columns for Actual Values and forecastValue (of course, the forecast calculated by Power BI). Being able to access the forecastValue column in DAX formulas would open up a whole range of possibilities.

RE: Access forecastValues in DAX formula
100% need this! Will be a huge time saver.
RE: Access forecastValues in DAX formula
voted, this would be useful,
power bi built-in forecast model really under explored, allowing only for visual forecasting
similar idea, but now for Power Query/M
