Refreshing Excel Files in OneDrive loaded in Desktop and published to cloud.

When you load an Excel File (stored in OneDrive Personal) into Power BI Desktop, once you publish to the web, the data set should automatically refresh / allowed to be manually refreshed.

Currently i note you can load a OneDrive - Personal file from the cloud and can refresh it. But if you utilise a OneDrive file on the desktop you cannot refresh it once it has been published to the cloud (without Personal Gateway).

Apologies if this has been implemented. I just can't find any reference on how to do it.

This can be done by loading the Excel file in Power BI Desktop via URL. Grab the URL portion of the link that can be obtained from OneDrive on the web and change "embed" to "download"

However, this does not enable OneDrive Refresh like loading the file via the cloud service does
