The new Scatter Chart by Akvelon also doesn't allow dates on the x axis

Looks like this version of the idea has more votes if you want to consolidate https://ideas.powerbi.com/ideas/idea/?ideaid=5a3f093f-53c3-4a95-8365-f5e6bcf971e9

This is really strange, because the data in our scatter plot is crucial for checking controls validity in Covid-19 PCR testing.

RE: DATES ON SCATTER PLOT X AXIS

Agreed - this should really be a key feature. We have to use Tableau as an alternative to show a scatter plot for sales. It would be good to have this in PowerBi so I don't have to use Tableau any more.

The aim is if you have till sales for a year you can see a "dot" for every sale through the year.
This allows you to see outliers and trends and gives a good understanding of sales trends for a large period of time.
Currently we have to do a workaround where we convert the date into a value and then overlay it with another visual with the dates in them but it's not very professional when demonstrating how it's done to others.
