Between Date slicer should get the default to latest date as it worked before.

RE: Date Slicer does not default to latest date
I agree. This should be a feature across all date slicer views; perhaps a toggle to show the most recent date (default), or show the date that was set when published ( for those that want to adjust a default range once a year, say. ). I field so many calls from our partner agencies who perceive that the report is "not updating". We eventually train them, but that is a clunky work around when they come in expecting to see the latest information.

How many votes away from enabling this feature?@microsoft.com
RE: Date Slicer does not default to latest date
Yes!!!!We need auto update date slicer in reporting.I don't understand why in first place the PowerBI removed this critical feature ??
RE: Date Slicer does not default to latest date
I fully support this idea. Having a date slicer automatically select the most recent date would greatly enhance efficiency in Power BI reports. It's a much-needed feature for those of us who regularly access reports for up-to-date information and currently have to manually set the slicer each time. This enhancement would save time and improve data relevancy, especially in fast-paced business environments.
RE: Date Slicer does not default to latest date
This is a critical issue. Please fix this error Power BI team.
RE: Date Slicer does not default to latest date
This is a massive inconvenience to automated reporting which previously was a huge benefit to using Power BI. Please fix.

Please fix.
RE: Date Slicer does not default to latest date
Agree 100%! Reports that I haven't adjusted for some time still do this, but new reports don't. Also if I go back and adjust an older report the end of the date slicer stays on the date I last modified the report. It used to default to the newest date in the dataset.
