    Can we have Power BI report parameter like SSRS?

    maybe it will help :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wvnjHPGNQQ&t=715sPersonally, I still miss that the default/current value (parameter value) can be set dynamically.When I run report and my query show others values than current value (when I published report) then I have blank report with errors. After selecting a new value from dropdown everything works.

    That would be great if we have Power BI Report Parameter like in SSRS.
    We will be able o use user-defined parameter values ​​in DAX expressions

    This would be a very nice feature. I have to use a live connection over a very large dataset. The report should have two parameters, one is at least required. This way the query loads data within a second. Today I can create parameters on my query in Power BI, but there is no fast way to feed those parameters with values from within a report.
    I can drop the parameters use a slicer for both fields with a search box, but that's not the same. It takes minutes to load al possible values in the slicers.
    A simpel textbox on the report, fill in a value, and pass it through the parameter. Some configuration on the paramater-textboxes to make all or some of them required,...
    This way I would be able drop my SSRS-reports.
