Currently we can only forecast using the analytics tab within a line chart, and the forecasted value cannot be accessed for further analysis.

In some scenarios we may also need to forecast multiple timelines and compare the forecasted values. It is helpful to have forecasting functions (eg. Forecast.ets in excel) in dax.

RE: add forecasting functions to dax

Guys --
§ picture a line chart with a display card showing Actuals -
§ how do I include forecasted values in the card?
§ the model has already computed the values - but you've chosen not to have them exposed.
§ the ask is very simple - EXPOSE THE ETS VALUES (ideally as a DAX measure)
§ today - have to go back to Excel & ingest from another table - borderline unprofessional.
