There should be more formatting options with the 'play' button.
Most obvious is being able to shrink the font size of the displayed play dimension. It is ridiculously large and obscures the visual.
Adjusting the speed of play would be great. I am looking at signal data over the course of a day(s). I want to be able to speed it up!
I don't want to see a play axis. The current value is good enough for me.
Fyi, my use case is using a floorplan as a background image and visualizing person counts in space via fixed sensors.

RE: Scatterplot play button formatting
2 years on and the play axis still can't be formatted. Want a scatterchart on a grey background? Nope, Microsoft says you can't do that, you won't see your play axis.
RE: Scatterplot play button formatting
One workaround I have used is increasing Y-axis range and adding a constant line to denote the correct y axis cutoff. This leaves an area at the top for the giant label to live.
RE: Scatterplot play button formatting
There also needs to be an option on placement of the font as well as size.

I put a screenshot to help visualize in a related related forum post:
