Line charts are lacking a lot of features which are even available in other chart types.
One of them is allowing for conditionally formatting the line chart.
Conditional formatting of line chart should be allowed in TWO ways:
1. By color (if the values is above/below a certain threshold), the color of the line should be different. Potentially also allowing for gradients.
2. By line type/shape (solid, dashed, dotted) ... it is helpful in allowing lines to be dashed/dotted if they are a certain value.
Also, ideally we should be able to plot two measures (say Revenue & Profits %) ... and both be conditionally formatted based on thresholds. Such as to in certain months revenue might be low and profitability is high. The good/bad thresholds can be very different for measures for the different product categories (filtered by the end-user).

RE: Conditionally format line chart
These two should be separate Legends of Line chart. Legend 1: color-byLegend 2: shape-byWe already have legend for Colorby but would need legend for Shapeby (aka Dashby).
RE: Conditionally format line chart
Consistent colors definitions should be applied at measure or field level.
