To truly have users feel comfortable in replacing many Excel based experiences, Power View tables will need to be highly customizable. Provide parody in functionality of an Excel table or Pivot table. Options include: formatting, ranking, hierarchies, grouping, etc.

I thought this was previously possible. Was the ability to customise removed? I want to centre align text in the column of a data visual and it's not possible I don't think.... thought it was.

It would be nice to have an option to center numeric values in the table. It is hard to explain to my company's CEOs that such a simple thing cannot be done in Power BI.

This thread seems to have slowed, any updates on increased table formatting capabilities (justification horizontally and vertically, conditional formatting for all data types, etc.)?
