I would like to be able to query the tables, columns, DAX calculations (columns and measures), and data source queries for datasets published to PowerBI.com. This would allow me to determine if I have many similar models that could be combined, or if I have multiple models defining the "same metric" differently. Having this information would help manage usage of space in Power BI and provide information for organizations to see where they are perhaps in need of master data management (or simply conversations about data definitions). If we could combine this metadata with usage information (which datasets are used, what columns are used), that could be powerful from an administrative perspective.

The metadata is exposed through the Scanner API or in Purview - Announcing Scanner API (Admin REST APIs) enhancements to include dataset tables, columns, measures, DAX expressions, and mashup queries | Microsoft Power BI Blog | Microsoft Power BI, , Use Power BI with Azure Purview to achieve better data governance and discovery | Microsoft Power BI Blog | Microsoft Power BI

If there is a need to expose more granualr information in one or all of these capabilities please do open a new idea/s with the specific asks so we address them

when can we get the power BI API using which we can get the table's field values?
it'll be more appreciable if this feature will come soon.

I want to modfiy the columns allowing to add, delete , rename them. Or at least there should be a way to delete the whole table i.e metadata and data. So that one can create a new table.

I need this information too. My application is pushing data to a dataset. If I would add a new column in the dataset of PowerBI, I could get the information about the unbinded column in my application.
