The text box included in Power BI has very limited formatting options. The following items would make the text box more useful:

-Bullet/Numbering
-Spell Check
-Strikethrough
-Subscript
-Superscript
-More Fonts

The text box also tends to revert back to the default font randomly and the highlighting behavior is awkward. While the text box is not an advanced feature it should have basic functionality and should be useful.

Expand Font Experience to mirror that of Power Point Word or Excel. Make sure that you include ALL Office Fonts and allow users to add their own custom fonts.

Yes, bring Power BI into the same font experience as the other Microsoft O365 products .

From embedding point of view, supporting other open source fonts is very important, else embedding looks so off.

Guys, For the time, We have one way to add new fonts in Power BI Reports. Use "Browse for Themes" functionality for the same. Hope this will help.

RE: Expanded formatting options in text boxes

Definitely. I can't understand why Microsoft have not added more fonts before now.

Agree, plus full text editor capabilities, i.e. word wrap, bulleted lists, sub/superscript. Give us the full O365 text editor tools so we can create professional reports!

Another example of some pretty basic options that PowerBI is simply forgetting about. It is a pain to make things look modern. As a UX/UI designer trying to get my team to produce dashboards that look and feel good, PowerBI simply just has so many design setbacks. It is just not designer friendly.
