In the latest updated, we can now zoom within the formula bar and extend the formula view (37 rows on my display without zooming). This is an improvement but we don't always need to see 37 rows.

Can we have it so we can drag down the formula bar to our desired size and also a keyboard shortcut to expand and collapse the bar, just like in Excel. The same shortcut would be perfect, CTRL+SHIFT+U.

Thanks

RE: Manually edit formula bar size with keyboard shortcut to expand/collapse

Why isn't this a thing yet? What GarCon said: "do the developers...try their usability out before releasing the update?"

But yeah, this covers the whole screen in a way that is completely unnecessary. And the video accompanying the feature release is unrealistic. 9 times out of 10 I am trying to fix something and need to see the data below (maybe I'm looking at a value in crafting a filter () or maybe I need to remember which column...) and having the drop-down cover the whole screen is just stupid.

I need to be able to adjust the size of the formula bar. OR toggle to full screen versus toggle to a preset number of rows should be an option.

RE: Manually edit formula bar size with keyboard shortcut to expand/collapse

I've just gone back to a application I have been working on and the expanded formula bar is actually worse than before. While I previously found having to scroll down frustrating, now having an almost empty formula bar means I can't look at my table while writing a measure/calc column. I'm have to ask, do the developers who implement these changes try their usability out before releasing the update because this oversight it bizarre.
